Making some of the heavy weapons usable with Might by default is interesting, although I already have a Might stunt that does that. I can also see giving those huge weapons an Aspect that doesn't really tie into anything else, like "Massive."

Many more weapons have been statted out than the ones listed here, but I'll go back over the list with your suggestions in mind. I like the idea of more evocative Aspects, but at the same time I want to keep the number of Aspects on each weapon down to one or two for most of them, and I don't want to potentially pigeonhole them with Aspects that appeal to me specifically and not the public at large. Y'know?Mike Olsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11547961835994778883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4491933635924780786.post-3525440987101730842008-03-04T10:27:00.000-08:002008-03-04T10:27:00.000-08:00I think one solution would be to have weapon depen...I think one solution would be to have weapon dependent stunts. The maul could be related to Might rather than Melee. I like the idea of "aspects" for weapons, but I think generic ones like "Slashing" and "Stabbing" are flexible, they don't invoke anything special. Basically those aspects break the rules of aspects.

A dagger after all is a basic knife in reality. It could have an aspect like "All Purpose".

The troll axe could have "Big as a troll" which could be used and advantage or a disadvantage.

Also, aspects would work well for players to personalize normal weapons, such as "weighted pommel" or something similar.Jonathan Breesehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11425434100358128927noreply@blogger.com
